How was their recruitment - to be honest overall arsenal had a pretty positive summer transfer window with the fantastic addition of Alexis Sanchez who has added allot of different dynamics to their team and allot of hard work. Also I believe Danny welbeck has been a great addition with his goals and workrate shining for his new team and I think he can only get better. Mathieu Debuchy and David ospina haven't really had a fair chance yet and callum chambers has done alright but is one more for the future. I do think however, the selling of vermalen didn't work and missing out on fabregas and song really hurt them.
How their results have gone - a bit of a mixed bag for the gunners as even though they are near the upper end of the table their have been some poor defeats to stoke and Manchester utd. There was also a disappointing early exit out of the capital one cup to Southampton. However, they finished runners up in their champions league group and it looks like they have a relatively easy tie next against Monaco.
How the manager has been doing - it seems like some fans are running out of patience with arsene Wenger and even though they one the fa cup last season some would view it as the minimum for a club like arsenal. He has stood up well in adversity and expect him like his team to improve in the second half of the season.
Star performer - Alexis Sanchez, easily been arsenals t player this season the 32 million pound buy from Barcelona has scored goals in both the premier league and champions league on a consistent basis. His constant workrate has been an inspiration to his team mates as he has proven to be a great signing.
What they need to improve - it has been arsenals problem for years that they struggle defensively with crosses and this season has been no different with the defence struggling with set pieces galore. Also sometimes in central midfield they lack a real bite in their with the more active teams rolling over them the majority of the time. They could do with a combative holding midfielder and a commanding central defender in the January transfer window.
Final positioning - 4th
