Burnley mid season review 2014-2015

Next team up for a mid season review is newly promoted Burnley.
How their recruitment went - too be honest burnleys recruitment was bad in the summer. There just wasn't enough premier league experience brought into the squad in the summer. Additions like Marvin sordell, Nathaniel chalobah and Stephen ward haven't improved the squad enough and they lack the premier league experience necessary to survive.

How they've performed - they've done okay, many expected just like me that Burnley would really struggle this season. But they have been competitive in nearly every game and even got a good result recently over man city. But they still are near the bottom of the league at Christmas.

How the manager is doing - Sean douche did a fantastic performance last season getting Burnley into the premier league. So far he has done a really good job dealing with the pressure of the premier league even though he needs to do some deals in the window

Star player so far - Danny ings, there was allot of talk before the start of the season whether he could make the step up and even though he started slow he has quite a few goals to his name and is doing well leading the line with Ashley Barnes.

What they need to improve - they need to try to spread the goals around the team instead of just relying on ings and Barnes and, they also need to be more solid defensively. They really just need some premier league experience in January round the team that might be able to help them survive.

Final positioning - 20th
