Arrow season 3 episode 15 Nanda Parbat review

The return of Ras an ghul happened this week and we first saw the atom so this was a pretty big episode for the series. Be careful for spoilers if you have not seen the episode yet.

This episode sees Malcolm merlyn kidnapped by the league of assassins and taken to nanda parbat with Oliver and diggle looking to invade the league to save merlyn. Meanwhile, Ray palmer finally activates his ATOM suit.

Now Stephen amell played his usual self in this episode but you felt like his character was the one who was looking after everyone else to try and justify heading to nanda parbat.

The supporting cast was really good this week, we finally got the return of ras ah ghul and I love the character because he is easily the most dangerous man on the planet but we now see that he is a bit of a damaged character with his motivations. Thea has become a well more interesting character this season with her being completely damaged and realising that she is completely damaged, if you see her progression it is great. Diggle was great in the episode as he really was Oliver's moral compass and he is still that now. Ray Palmer is back on the show and he is one of the funnier cast members and he is back with his charismatic energy bring something different to the show and his chemistry with felicity is great. Laurel has been a much discussed character since the show began but her character arc has been great and she seems to possibly be the most relatable character on the show.

I do feel like the title of nanda parbat was a bit of a tease as the majority of the episode was in starling until the last 20 mins. But seeing the journeys of the characters was really interesting and all these characters are really interesting too me. By the end when ras offered Oliver to become the new ras ah ghul it was a bombshell even though I predicted that would be the case and it really does set up some tense situations to the end of the season.

The script was good with allot of drama and there was the comedic element with Ray and felicity. The drama with the league of assassins provided real situations.

The style was great with the big action scene at the end being one of the best in arrows history. I also liked the different scenery of the episode as it makes me feel like this show isn't restricted to one place.

Overall this was a really fun episode and it is clearly setting up a crazy end to the season.
