Best player of the weekend - it's gotta be man city's David Silva who scored two of city's goals on the weekend and truly runned the show and showed how football should be played.

Best manager of the weekend - this award is actually going to go to Swansea boss Garry monk for his team's performance against Manchester utd in their 2-1 win. They played a little differently to their usual free flowing way and became defensively resolute to do the double over utd.

Major talking points - it's got to be the terrible refereeing this weekend whether it would be in the Chelsea vs Burnley game or the Southampton Vs Liverpool game the standard of refereeing is at an all time low and needs to improve quickly.
