Crystal palace mid season review 2014 - 2015

The next mid season review is for the turbulent Crystal palace

How their recruitment went - unspectacular is a big word for how their transfer business went and it was the big factor for Tony pulls departure from palace before the start of the season. Additions like Martin Kelly, Frazier Campbell and Wilfred zaha haven't impressed enough and hasn't added too much additional quality to the squad.

How they have performed - it's been a pretty bad start to the season for Crystal palace as they have failed to defeat most of the teams around them. And even a morale boosting victory over Liverpool hasn't been good enough for palace.

How is the manager doing - well this one is more how he did as Neil Warnock was the first premier league firing of the season and he didn't deal with palaces lack of goals enough and I think his sacking was the right decision.

Star player - yannick bolasie, last season bolasie wasn't that impressive with his final product not being impressive. But he has really improved this season and everything good that has come from palace has come through bolasie and his final product is so much better.

What they need to improve - well now it looks like Alan pardew will be the next manager and he will certainly improve the team. But they need to get a new centre forward and need to sometimes be more adventurous going forward.

Final positioning - 18th
