The next team for a review is fa cup finalists hull city
How their recruitment went - it actually went pretty well, first with Jake Livermore agreeing to a permanent deal following a great season on loan. The signing of Michael Dawson was inspired and he has slotted right into the team with no hassle and spurs fans probably wish he was still one of there players. Abel Hernandez was brought in and after a very promising debut has fallen off the pace a bit but it looks like he could pick up form soon. The signing of young Andrew Robertson has been great as the left back has inspired and become first choice for club and country.
How performances have gone - bad to say the least, hull have just looked devoid of being able to get results as they fall down the table and it seems the dreaded second season syndrome could be in line for hull
How the manager has done - Steve Bruce deserves huge credit for everything he has done with hull city in getting them promoted, keeping them up and guiding them briefly into Europe. But this season nothing has really worked for him and he seems to not be sure of his best team or formation.
Star player - Andrew Robertson, the young full back has been fantastic since being bought in the summer. Not much was expected but he has shone and gone on to make his Scotland debut and establish himself as their number one left back.
What they need to improve - the players just need to start showing their quality and be consistent in their formation. They need to be a bit more clinical with chances and stop giving away so many soft goals.
Final positioning - 17th
