My last mid season review is for that of west ham United.
How their recruitment went - really good, west ham had a great transfer window. Alex song joined in on loan from Barcelona and has been great and has fully improved their central midfield. Diafra sakho and enner Valencia were brought in as strikers and they have done a great job upfront so far this season. Aaron cresswell joined from Ipswich and has really stepped up to the levels of the premier league well. Carl jenkinson has done well at right back and and some arsenal fans wish he was back there. Chekou koyate joined in the summer and has done a decent job so far.
How performances have gone - fantastically, last season they struggled but after the transfer business they did in the summer they have been a relegation this season. They defeated Manchester city and have been very consistent this season that has been a huge surprise.
How the manager has done - also fantastically, Sam allardyce was under allot of pressure to improve the football at Upton park and boy hasn't he just done that and showed the critics that he is a highly tactical manager.
Star player - Stewart downing, after really failing at Liverpool it seems Sam allardyce has improved this player to a huge degree. Being moved into a more central position he has got more assists and goals and has now got a recall into the England squad.
What they need to improve - they need all their players to stay fit and keep up exceeding expectations to keep up their position but tactically I think they are doing everything right.
Final positioning - 9th
